2 Man Cruiser Rules | |
![]() |
Two man cruisers is one of the entry level classes at Algona Raceway. The cars raced are 4 door sedans with "full-size" dimensions. The car is configured for operation by two people. The driver controls the steering and braking of the vehicle, while the passenger controls the accelerator, which is located on his side. The 2-man cruiser class is the biggest and, in the opinion of many fans, the most exciting at Algona. The excitement stems from the amount of action on the track and the fact that most of the drivers are "hometown boys." The cruiser races feature no caution flags, except in special circumstances, which leads to many on-track incidents.
